It provides very few additional conveniences, both for the kids and parents. The only thing that is provided by the side bin is that it is only available when one car seat is connected. There aren't any parent trays cup holders, cups or accessory pockets, and this could pose a problem for long trips.
The seats don't recline to a completely flat position, and the space between them is a bit wide and our 5 year old experienced difficulty lying back in a comfortable position. It's unfortunate given that this is a luxury vehicle.
On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great in climbing slopes and steps. It's also narrow enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transport. It can also be changed to mono mode with just three clicks, if you need more space or a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board should you need to. If you're looking to save money there are alternatives that are less expensive. It's worth it though if you're a fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
