A transparent device that allows certain Pokemon species evolve. It was developed by Silph Co.
The item upgrader adds a brand new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosts
There are a variety of boosts you can get with an upgrader. They can include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to boost the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their appearance.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their equipment by spending currency at an item upgrades upgrader NPC. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was extended with the release of Warlords of Draenor. It's a simple method to boost the level of your equipment, letting you to avoid the tedious grind and avoid a bunch wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its type of base changes. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional variant, while upgrades to an Exceptional version make an Elite. The item will retain its previous upgrade stats, but will also receive an additional bonus of its new base type. The bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon with more damage range, a faster reloading speed, or an increased max defense roll.
The number of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you will receive. Each upgrade item will boost the additional benefits by a factor of one, up to a maximum of three. Additionally, every upgrade will also increase the main stat by +1.
Some upgrades also give you a secondary random boost in addition to stat boosts. These boosts can be valuable and should be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs), while others are valuable to collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boo that is less effective when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which provides extra potion slots. These are usually upgraded to inject more value into the perfect or nearly perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades are accompanied by certain costs associated with them. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is contingent on the new value of the item and the number of perks it gets. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.
The other is the cost of the materials needed to upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. The quantity of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade items an item. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take up to 8 hours. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases upgrades can provide additional perks. These perks are offered on a table.
In rare cases, the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing bonuses. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, like changing its weapon damage type or or removing an unwieldy or operational property. These changes are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, like Adamantine.
Success Rate
The basis for upgrading items is an opportunity, and like every random system, there's the possibility that the upgrade won't succeed. However there are some things that can help to increase the chances of success. These include the use of an item upgrader mod known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of additional items to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be purchased through the NPC for smithing in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by an amount. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are shown in a window that is above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is shown right above the + button in the UI.
Another way to increase the chances of an upgrade achieving success is by using an item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item can be helpful when your piece of equipment or weapon is close to or has reached the maximum level of its tier. This item lets you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful the system will be restored to its original condition. This is typically an error, but it can also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade for when you're near the highest level of an item, and use it as an option last resort.
There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade succeeding. For instance upgrading an equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will provide you with an increased chance of success. The rate of success will be increased if you increase your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for items allows players to add a second card slot into their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. It is important to note that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank, the more zen and the items you'll need to upgrade it.
This kind of system can be expensive, especially for high-level gear. It could cost as high as 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. As you advance in rank, the chances of success diminish. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase your chances of upgrading an item efficiently.
